As a close venue, Sandima is a deserted, 600 year old village. It is situated in a bowl at the base of a ring of barren hills and is accessible by car but makes for a very pleasant walk. Considered as the most colourful of the area, the local market of Yalikavak brings farmers and artisans together every Thursday. It is a great local experience.
